I saw these guys with my dad, after being impressed with Kansas the first time I saw them.

Let's start with Survivor - I believe they had just started when we showed up. The volume was fine when we were in the parking lot - then WAY too loud when we were actually in the audience. Everything sounded distorted. For the most part, the performance was just kind of sad - the audience was not interested in them at all. One lady was dancing - and stuck out like a sore thumb because everyone else was sitting down. Their signature hit is of course "Eye of the Tiger" but even that got messed up - during that line, he sang, "it's the - " and held the mic out towards the audience for them to complete it. They didn't.

Kansas were up next and pretty good. It hadn't been too long since I first saw them, but now I was a fan and had a few of their CDs, so I could follow the songs better. I still think Steve Walsh's voice has held up very well.

Styx were the closers, although I really came to see Kansas. I wasn't that impressed to be honest. It was like putting on a greatest hits CD (they do have a lot of hits).
