I do not think their signature lager is very impressive, although their Optimator is quite a treat. This is the brew that made me notice them in the first place, several years ago, and I have not been able to find it since then. In October or otherwise. Some Märzens can be a bit too caramelly, or thin, but this one has a nice sturdy body with spices a bit reminiscent of a saison. It is a mostly clear burnt-orange/brown with a well formed white head - the perfect look for autumn in my opinion. Very aromatic, and the flavor again has those spices, with just a bit of sweetness. A very respectable entry in the world of lagers (Märzens and Bocks are surely the most worthy styles of lagers), and perfect for the season.
